It was an absolute pleasure to be involved in a 'brand video' production project with Sydney based debt collection agency Slater Byrne Recoveries (SBR). SBR specialises in debt collection, commercial litigation, banking and finance, insolvency and credit. Managing Director Annabelle Parry needed a short film that embodied the company’s offerings, strengths and overall vision. Please enjoy the final film that was shot over two days in Sydney’s central business district. 

Slater Byrne Recoveries Video Script:

“I used to work for another collection agency. Every day I was dealing with client complaints and you know, horror stories from people who had been given bad advice, people who had been ripped off. People who had been told their debt was recoverable, when ‘quick, spend all this money going legal and we’ll get the money’ only to find out that it was just a grab for their money, to issue a claim and then close the file.”

Clients are time poor, they don’t have the time to put in constantly ring people up and send letters out and send out reminders and we really help them by following up those calls and following our strict processes to help them recover those debts as quickly as possible.”

“We’re helping people structure their business better, helping them with their receivables, we’re helping them with their cash flow.”

“We don’t charge anything at all until we actually re-cover the debt, that’s the incentive for our collectors to recover as quickly as they do.”

“We have a specific focus on small to medium enterprises, that’s our strength, we don’t have people who are untrained chasing debts they don’t know about.”

“When it comes to commission we ideally like to be able to charge that to our client’s debtors. Our process is pretty straight forward it’s just a matter of appointing us, giving us authority to recover money on your behalf and sending us a tax invoice.”

“My staff love recovering debts for their clients because they’ve built their own relationships with those clients and they get super excited when they’re able to get a good result for that client, there’s a lot of high five moments around the office throughout the day when we get a good result.”
